Art and Betty Quist
Art and Betty grew up in northern Alberta. Art was saved as a child and Betty,
in her late teen years. While serving in western Canada as itinerant children's
evangelists, they learned of the Awana ministry and took basic training.
They settled in a church where Art served as an assistant Pastor and Awana
Commander, and Betty served as leader and secretary. In 1996, after 17 years in
pastoral ministry, they felt Gods call to serve as Awana Missionaries.
God has used the Quists' many experiences to prepare them for their present ministry.
Art and Betty were married in 1971. They make their home in Stony Plain, Alberta,
and have three grown daughters and several grandchildren.
With many years of experience in the ministry, Art and Betty are both well
versed in the Awana program. They are ready to counsel with pastors and leaders
regarding the youth ministry of your church, and to present the Awana program.
They are also available to conduct leadership training, sponsor area events,
and speak at Awana presentations and other services in your church. Please feel
free to contact them directly.
